(somme, produit, quotient, composée) de fonctions dérivables sur I I I (et dénominateur non nul). Pour tout x ∈ I x\in I x ∈ I , f ′ ( x ) = … f'(x)=\dots f ′ ( x ) = … »

f ( x ) − f ( a ) x − a = x 2 − a 2 x − a = x + a \frac{f(x)-f(a)}{x-a}=\frac{x^2-a^2}{x-a}=x+a x − a f ( x ) − f ( a ) = x − a x 2 − a 2 = x + a
Quand x → a x\to a x → a , cette quantité tend vers 2 a 2a 2 a .
✅ Donc f f f est dérivable en a a a et f ′ ( a ) = 2 a f'(a)=2a f ′ ( a ) = 2 a .
Question 2
Pour x > 0 x>0 x > 0 :
g ( x ) − g ( 0 ) x − 0 = x x = 1 x \frac{g(x)-g(0)}{x-0}=\frac{\sqrt x}x=\frac1{\sqrt x} x − 0 g ( x ) − g ( 0 ) = x x = x 1
Question 3
Pour x ≠ 0 x\neq0 x = 0 :
h ( x ) − h ( 0 ) x − 0 = x ∣ x ∣ x = ∣ x ∣ \frac{h(x)-h(0)}{x-0}=\frac{x|x|}x=|x| x − 0 h ( x ) − h ( 0 ) = x x ∣ x ∣ = ∣ x ∣
f ′ ( x ) = a e − x − ( a x + b ) e − x = ( a − a x − b ) e − x f'(x)=ae^{-x}-(ax+b)e^{-x}=(a-ax-b)e^{-x} f ′ ( x ) = a e − x − ( a x + b ) e − x = ( a − a x − b ) e − x
Les conditions.
• La courbe passe par A ( 0 ; 1 ) A(0\,;1) A ( 0 ; 1 ) : f ( 0 ) = b = 1 f(0)=b=1 f ( 0 ) = b = 1 .
• La tangente en A A A est horizontale : f ′ ( 0 ) = a − b = 0 f'(0)=a-b=0 f ′ ( 0 ) = a − b = 0 , donc a = b = 1 a=b=1 a = b = 1 .
✅ Donc a = 1 a=1 a = 1 et b = 1 b=1 b = 1 , et f ( x ) = ( x + 1 ) e − x f(x)=(x+1)e^{-x} f ( x ) = ( x + 1 ) e − x .
Vérification : f ( 0 ) = 1 f(0)=1 f ( 0 ) = 1 ✓ et f ′ ( x ) = − x e − x f'(x)=-xe^{-x} f ′ ( x ) = − x e − x , donc f ′ ( 0 ) = 0 f'(0)=0 f ′ ( 0 ) = 0 ✓
Exercice 10 (★★) : variations d'une composée

✏️ Correction de l'exercice 10
La dérivée. La fonction f f f est dérivable sur R \R R comme composée de x ↦ x 2 − 2 x x\mapsto x^2-2x x ↦ x 2 − 2 x et de l'exponentielle. Avec u ( x ) = x 2 − 2 x u(x)=x^2-2x u ( x ) = x 2 − 2 x , u ′ ( x ) = 2 x − 2 u'(x)=2x-2 u ′ ( x ) = 2 x − 2 :
✅ f ′ ( x ) = ( 2 x − 2 ) e x 2 − 2 x = 2 ( x − 1 ) e x 2 − 2 x f'(x)=(2x-2)e^{x^2-2x}=2(x-1)e^{x^2-2x} f ′ ( x ) = ( 2 x − 2 ) e x 2 − 2 x = 2 ( x − 1 ) e x 2 − 2 x
Le signe. Comme e x 2 − 2 x > 0 e^{x^2-2x}>0 e x 2 − 2 x > 0 , f ′ ( x ) f'(x) f ′ ( x ) est du signe de x − 1 x-1 x − 1 : f ′ ( x ) < 0 f'(x)<0 f ′ ( x ) < 0 si x < 1 x<1 x < 1 , f ′ ( 1 ) = 0 f'(1)=0 f ′ ( 1 ) = 0 , f ′ ( x ) > 0 f'(x)>0 f ′ ( x ) > 0 si x > 1 x>1 x > 1 .
✅ La fonction f f f est strictement décroissante sur ] − ∞ ; 1 ] ]-\infty\,;1] ] − ∞ ; 1 ] et strictement croissante sur [ 1 ; + ∞ [ [1\,;+\infty[ [ 1 ; + ∞ [ .
Elle admet un minimum en x = 1 x=1 x = 1 , égal à f ( 1 ) = e − 1 f(1)=e^{-1} f ( 1 ) = e − 1 .
✅ Le minimum est 1 e \dfrac1e e 1 .
